Dutch edition of this map which extends from the east coast of Africa to Western Australia. The tracks along the east coast of Africa to Goa are shown. The Dutch trading activities in the Indian Ocean which primarily focused on the spice trade, initially establish in Goa, the Portuguese occupied fort city on the west coast of India. Later the Dutch occupied Ceylon and then ventured further to Malacca and finally discovered the route to the Moluccas Islands.
Australia's west coast is shown with Shark Bay noted.
