Robertson was a printmaker, painter and commercial artist born in Newcastle, New South Wales in 1872 and died in Sydney 1940. He had worked and exhibited in England between 1896 -1912. He had studied at: Central School of Arts and Crafts, London, Westminster School, London, London Polytechnic, London.
