    Colin Blythe (1879-1917)  also known as Charlie Blythe, was a professional cricketer who played for Kent County Cricket Club and the England cricket team. He was a left-arm orthodox spin bowler and is regarded as one of the finest bowlers of the period between 1900 and 1914 – sometimes referred to as the Golden Age of cricket. He was named as one of Wisden's five Cricketers of the Year in 1904 and played in 19 Test matches for England.

    Famous early golfing print of Alexander McKellar the most enthusiastic player in Edinburgh at the time. Although he took on the game 'late' in life McKellar was insanely devoted to the game playing in any weather and often seen at the 'short holes' by lamp light. 

    Kay etched and sold his caricature portraits individually from 1784 until the 1820's. These individually issued etchings were collected over many years by Hugh Paton and issued as, A series of original portraits and caricature etchings by the late John Kay.
