Rare engraved map from the official British Admiralty sanctioned edition of the accounts of Cook’s first voyage.  Map of the Society Islands extending from the Scilly Islands in the west, to Whitsunday Island in the east and north from Disappointment Island to Ohetiroa in the south. The tracks of the voyages of Byron, Carteret, Cook and Wallis 1765-1769, are indicated.
