Etcher and gallery curator. studied at the R.A. Schools under Sargent, Dicksee and Clausen. He exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1901 and had a good reputation in England. Arrived in Australia in 1910 and had his first one man show in 1919 in Perth. He became to be recognised as one of the best printmakers of his generation. One of the largest of all Raalte&#8217s prints and exhibited at The Fine Art&#8217s Society&#8217s Gallery, Melbourne Friday 3rd December, 1920 for the sum of �10 10s. Issued in one of his smallest editions, numbered 10 of 20. Reference HVR 65
