We worked for London lithographic firm before coming to Sydney in 1879. In Sydney he worked for the Illustrated Sydney News and the Town and Country Journal, the Sydney Mail and Queensland Punch. With Arthur Collingridge he established the Centennial Magazine in August 1888, which lasted to September 1890.
