Philip Lee (working 1880-1899 Sydney)
Philip Lee is listed in Sands Sydney Directories for 1889, 1892, 1893, 1898 and 1899 as an artist living at various addresses. Many of his paintings, which date from the 1880s and 1890s, are landscapes depicting scenes in New South Wales. Native Sports, 1880, in the collection of the Australian National Gallery, is Lee’s earliest known work.
