Rare map solely focused on Fiji showing the tracks of the ship Duff under the command of James Wilson and those of Bligh’s Bounty. Captain James Wilson (1760), brought the first British missionaries to the Pacific onboard the Duff in 1797. The missionaries he brought were from the London Missionary Society which comprised of thirty men, six women and three children. He explored and visited Fiji, Mangareva in the Gambier Islands and Pukarua in the Tuamotus. Duff paid a visit as a missionary ship to Tahiti during 1796.
