Important c.19th map of the Blue Mountains from the first county atlas of New South Wales, extending from Springwood to Rydal, with panels of text listing rivers, towns and creeks by George Bishop (act. 1857-?), from the first county atlas published in the colony. The maps were compiled from ‘the very latest plans in the Land’s Department‘, and laid down the extent of the known settled areas in the 1870’s.
