Description:
Important c.19th county map of the Moruya area on the south coast, extending from the Shoalhaven River in the north and inland to Braidwood the Blue Mountains, from the first county atlas published in the colony by George Bishop (act. 1857-?). The maps were compiled from ‘the very latest plans in the Land’s Department‘, and laid down the extent of the known settled areas in the 1870’s.
