Gabriel  Bodenehr (1664-1758)

Gabriel Bodenehr was a German publisher, cartographer and copper engraver. His most famous work is the Atlas Curieux. He came from the Kupferfercher family Bodenehr, his father Johann Georg Bodenehr (1631-1704) was a copper engraver and publisher while his brothers Moritz (1665-1749), Georg Conrad (1673-1710) and son Gabriel Bodenehr the Younger (1705-1792) were copper cutters.
