Mapmaker:
Michalles Alfredo Ruggero (1898-1976)
Ruggero used the acronym RAM, or the nickname Roger. He was born in Florence and graduated with a degree in chemistry. After winning an art competition with his brother, Ernesto, in 1928, he ha his first solo exhibit which was held at Palazzo Ferroni. In his thirties and forties, various alliances with publications and the Ministry of Tourism produced posters and illustrations for the covers of magazines.
