Biography:

Louis Anne Meredith (nee Twamley) 1812-1895

Author, artist and botanist born in England but lived for much of her life in Tasmania. In 1839 she married Charles Meredith who ran sheep in New South Wales. She kept a diary from an early age and she used this as source material for her books.
