Large scale C18th map of the Holy Land from the west and with an inset of the Tabernacle, the Tribes’ tents and the figures of Moses and Aaron with the Tabernacle’s holy ceremonial vessels. At top is an elaborate title cartouche with a garland of flowers held by six cherubs. In the seas are galleons and other sailing boats and a compass rose. At top left is a key for features on the map and lower right is a scale of distances.
On the upper part appears an inscription with details about the map surrounded by a wreath of flowers held by two angels.
