Three Federation items in a red modern cloth portfolio, with the book plate of Kaz Posney etched by Wim Zwiers (1920- ), comprising;
1. Separate printed leaf with instructions to endorse “Ceremonial” on reply envelope.
2. Official Programme of Functions and Displays to Celebrate the Opening of the First Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia, by His Highness the Duke of Cornwall and York, at Melbourne 6th May to 17th May, 1901. Cover design by Norman Lindsay.
3. Invitation- Opening of the Parliament of the Commonwealth by his Royal Highness The Duke of Cornwall and York. The Government of Victoria requests the the presence of Mr. R.R. and Mrs. Brown.
Quarto, cover design by Norman Lindsay, black-and-white illustrations, pp. 48, original wrappers, together with gilt and colour printed souvenir invitation designed by John Longstaff and Norman Lindsay, with attached Memorandum, loosely inserted in modern cloth portfolio.
