Rare inland exploration map from the official British report on the fate of the Burke and Wills expedition, printed by Henry Hansard.

Shows Eastern Part of Australia, with the routes of Burke and Wills, from Menindie to the Gulf of Carpentaria and his supposed return route. Also shown are the route of the search expedition of John McKinlay and of John McDouall Stuart’s route from Port Augusta to his furthest point in May 1861, as well as that of his earlier explorations in 1845.
