Description:
Scarce map of the proposed railway line from Bundaberg to Mount Perry. With the discovery of copper in 1869 at Mount Perry, the township grew rapidly and consequently a railway was required to provide transport to the coast. The first 65 kilometre section from North Bundaberg railway station to Moolboolaman opened on 19 July 1881.
