Samuel Ireland’s 1793 book of picturesque views along the River Medway with 28 superb full page aquatint views. The Medway rises in the High Weald, Sussex and flows through Tonbridge, Maidstone before emptying into the Thames Estuary.

London:, published by T. and J. Egerton, 1793, xii, 206 pp, final leaf advertising the author’s Picturesque views on the Avon, aquatint frontispiece by John Mortimer, engraved map and 28 full page sepia aquatint plates.

Bound in full embossed Morocco, binding is worn and contents loose, one end paper with minor repair otherwise internally in very good condition.
