Rare c.19th map of the wine district region of Geelong recording the state of health of the vineyards in the area, after the discovery in 1877 of the vine disease, Phylloxera vasatrix. The map records all the vineyard owners names and the size of their holdings. All the areas diseased and destroyed in 1878 and 1879 are shaded as indicated by the key at lower left.
