Large original ink and watercolour plan of the subdivision of land named, Torilla Estate, New South Wales. The map extends from Scone to Parkville between the Main Northern Railway and Main Middle Brook Road. The names of the purchasers is noted on each allotment

December 22, 1825, Captain William Joh Dumarexq of the Royal Staff Corps, arrived in New South Wales with his brother in law Governor Darling.

in 1829 he retired fro the service to settle on his grant of 2360 acres in the rich Hunter River Valley. The grant was called St Aubins, and to it was added his wife’s dowry grant, according to the custom of the time.
