The earliest English printed map solely devoted to Scotland. Superbly embellished with an ornate title within a strap work design at top right and a large compass rose at lower right and. Sea monsters and a galleon are added to the stipple engraved sea.

This example is the 2nd issue printed in 1610 without text on the verso or plate number.

The three issues of this map:
1st issue 1607 in Camden’s Britannia (6th edition) with Latin text to verso.
2nd  issue 1610 lacks text to verso.
3rd issue 1637, only issue with engraved plate number
