Set of six photographs of The Rocks taken prior to the demolition of the area.

Two of the photographs show the Whaler’s Arms: in 1830 James and Sarah Byrne built the St. Patricks’ Inn which incorporated the old Cribbs House. The name of the pub was later changed to the Whaler’s Arms. Prior to its demolition in 1902 it was used as a boarding house.
