Description:
Very rare large scale maps stamped with Poole & Noble, 250 George Street, Sydney, Architects, surveyors and lithographic printers. From volume one We have been unable to find information of any substance of this firm and the only example of this collection of maps are the Mitchell Library collection. This map’s focus is the streets up to Woolloomooloo Wharf. Map extends from Lincoln Crescent to Dowling Street and from Cowper Bay Wharf Roadway to Plunkett Street. The map is dated 1st June 1887 and provides detailed information, including the allotments and type materials for the buildings.
