Frederick Frith (1819 - 1871)

English painter and photographer who began his career in England but emigrated to Melbourne around 1853, advertising in the Melbourne Argus on 12 April 1853 inviting visitors to his studio in the Neave's Buildings, on the corner of Collins and Swanston Streets. He moved to Hobart around 1855. He moved back to Melbourne in 1862 .
