Raimondo Petraroja (fl. 1870 - )

was an Italian publisher, lithographer, and bookseller based in Naples. He specialized in educational and scientific publishing, producing richly illustrated zoological and botanical atlases that helped popularize natural history in 19th-century Italy. His most famous publications include Atlante Zoologico Popolare and Atlante di Botanica Popolare, works noted for their detailed hand-colored lithographs. Though little is known about his personal life, Petraroja’s contributions to scientific illustration and educational publishing earned him a lasting place in the history of Italian print culture.
