Godefroy Durand (1832-1896)
Durand was a draughtsman of French heritage and a well known wood engraver whose prolific works appeared in The Graphic over many years. He also worked for L’Univers Illustré. He exhibited at the Royal Academy and the Royal Society of British Artists in 1873.
