Biography:
Phillip Litchfield
Early 20th century Sydney printmaker and cartoonist. He worked as a woodcutter predominantly and produced many bookplates. He was a prolific producer of bookplates in interwar Sydney. Although predominantly a woodcutter, he often substituted scraper board for timber because it was quicker to work.
