New Convent of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd.

Rare c.19th hand coloured engraving of the new premises built for the for the Sister of the Good Shepherd in 1871 which was located in part of the old Carter’s Barracks in Pitt Street.

The House of the Good Shepherd, which later became their refuge, was originally established in 1848.
