“On The Black Spur”.

Colonial engraved view of the road, originally known as “The Blacks”, which gained its name from the route taken by Aboriginal people from northern Victoria on their way to a mission settlement at Corranderrk near Healesville. The road runs between the towns of Healesville and Narbethong.
