Rare colonial engraving of the severe snow storm that hit Goulburn on 9 September, 1869. Amusingly one of the incidents reported was: 

Some persons coming to Sydney by train brought a monster snowball from the Blue Mountains, and it was exhibited in a shop in King-street.’
