Rare pair of c.18th maps on one sheet of Kerguelen Island, Antarctica from the official British Admiralty sanctioned edition of the accounts of Cook’s third and final voyage.
Kerguelen Island which lies in the southern Indian Ocean, midway between Africa, Antarctica and Australia, which James Cook visited between 25 to 30 December 1776.
