Sir Edwin Landseer (1802-1873)
Born in London and a child prodigy who exhibited at the Royal Academy from the age thirteen and elected as a memeber at teh age of 24. He is recognised as one of the leading English animal painter of the Victorian period. He represented in all national British institutional collections.
