Friedrich Johann Justin Bertuch (1747 - 1822)

Bertuch was a successful entrepreneur and a man of the Age of Enlightenment Bertuch had been orphaned at the age of15 and lived with his uncle. He pursued an education in theology and law eventually became a publisher and the largest employer in his home town of Weimar.
