Scarce engraving of a colonial made pianoforte, the work of William Ezold of 48 Oxford Street, Sydney which won first prize at the 1879-80 Sydney Exhibition.
William Ezold advertised himself in 1877 as “a practical pianoforte maker and first class tuner.” In 1878 he opened his own warehouse at 48 Oxford Street, advertising as a pianoforte maker and importer of German pianos.
