Lance Calkin (1859 - 1936)

Lance Calkin (1859-1936) was born in London, the son of a musician. He was privately educated and attended the Slade School of Fine Art and the Royal Academy Schools. In 1895 he became a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Oil Colours.
