Scarce, c.19th hand coloured engraving of the Agricultural College Buildings, Dookie South, Victoria.

The Agricultural College, was established in 1886 as one of Victoria’s earliest institutions devoted to agricultural education. The college was established on the former Dookie Station property, comprising approximately 1,000 acres, and provided practical instruction in agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry and related subjects. It later became associated with the University of Melbourne and continues as an agricultural teaching and research centre.
