Small C18th map of China with a decorative title cartouche at lower left. Taiwan is name ‘Taywan or Formosa‘. Korea is prominently mapped.

Thomas Jefferys (1710 – 1771)
Well known English eighteenth century mapmaker and publisher. He was appointed Geographer to the Prince of Wales in 1746 and to the King in 1760.
