Fabulous engraved portrait of Edward (1284–1329), surnamed the Liberal, Count of Savoy from 1323 to 1329. He was the son of Amadeus V, Count of Savoy, and his first wife Sybille of Bâgé.

 

Artist:

Georges Tasnière (1632 – 1704) Italian printmaker born in Burgundy and active in Turin at least from 1670 to 1678.

F J de Lange (fl. c. 1690 – c.1710) French painter draughtsman who designed a series of portraits representing the Dukes of Savoy, engraved by George Tasnière
