Biography:

Godefroy Durand (1832-1896) 

Durand was a draughtsman of French heritage and a well known wood engraver whose prolific works appeared in The Graphic over many years. He also worked for L’Univers Illustr√©. He exhibited at the Royal Academy and the Royal Society of British Artists in 1873.
