Rare engraving of A. Kethel’s Market Wharf stores. Market Wharf was originally located at the end of present-day Market Street, Darling Harbour, to service the produce markets which stood on the site of today’s Queen Victoria Building.
The stores were an imposing front to Wharf-street, ex-tending along that street 107ft, with a depth of 60ft towards the wharf, to which they have a frontage of 107ft.
