Biography:

Frederick William Frohawk 1861 – 1946

English zoological artist Frohawk born at Norfolk, the son of a gentleman farmer. He
took an early interest in drawing and natural history. At the age of twenty he
received his first commission from The
Field
, later becoming natural history editor of that magazine. He
contributed drawings for the Natural History Museum.
