Engraving of the famous Italian Stone Pine, in the town of the summer Papal Palace from the series Flora and Sylva, whose lavish production was overseen by William Robinson, one of the most famous British landscape designers of the time. Robinson was the leading exponent of the wild or natural garden, which always included trees as part of the design.
