Thomas Selby Cousins (1840 – 1897)
Cousins emigrated first to New Zealand and then to Australia. He exhibited in the first Victorian Academy of Arts who in 1870. He painted views of Australian and New Zealand. Cousins remained in the antipodes even after inheriting 20,000 pounds.
