Zigzag Railway Across the Blue Mountains, New South Wales.

Scarce c.19th engraving of the Lithgow Zig Zag railway which was constructed as part of the Main Western line and opened on the 19 October 1869 between Lithgow and Clarence, in the Blue Mountains. It was replaced in 1910 by a 10 tunnel deviation.
