Description:

Early c.20th map showing the tick fence along the Queensland border which was completed in 1906 after the first discovery of cattle ticks in the Kyogle, Woodenbong, Unumgar and Rosebery district of northern New South Wales (inland from Byron Bay). Large areas were placed in quarantine and included in the Kyogle Quarantine District.

The map includes; towns, goldfields, areas sold and leased, roads, tracks, telegraph lines and reserves for native flora.
