Duke of Brunswick is now three years and eight months old, and since his introduction to the colony has been used in the select herd of pure bred and highly pedigreed cows at Mount Derrimut. He was purchased in England when eleven months old for his present owner. His sire was 2nd Duke of Claro (21,576) dam Lady Fortunate by 2nd Duke of Wharfdale (19,649). Both these bulls were bred by Capt. Gunterfrom Bate’s celebrated Duchess family, two of which he (Capt. Gunter) sold for the sum of 2500 guineas hist July. When the Duch esses were last exhibited, by Capt.
