Francois Anne David ( 1741 - 1824)

French engraver born in Paris in 1741, where he lived and worked all his life. He was a pupil of Le Bas, and became engraver to the King of Prussia. He was a member of the Royal Academy of Painting in Berlin, as well as of the Academy of Sciences and Letters at Rouen. He died in Paris in 1824.
