George Kitch ( 1843 - 1914)

George Kitch (1843-1914) the first successful photographer in Katoomba. He was an alderman of the Katoomba Municipal Council (1900-1914) and during
the year when he was Mayor (1905-1906). He opened a photography business called The Eclipse Photo Company in Katoomba in 1889 which operated under
the name ‘Kitch & Co’.
