Henry Burn (? 1807 - 1884)

Burn was born in Birmingham, England, about 1807. On 16 October 1852, Burn sailed from Liverpool on the Baltimore, arriving in Melbourne on 30 January 1853. Soon he advertised to a ‘View’ of Melbourne, the Argus of 19 December 1853 which was never completed. He produced a number of important paintings and lithographs documenting early Melbourne.
