Herbert E. Bellamy ( 1877 - 1947)

Bellamy was a Government hydraulic engineer, born on 9 May 1877 at Biggleswade in Bedfordshire and received his training as a civil engineer in Lancashire. He studied water supplies and sewage disposal works in the USA and Germany, and worked in England, Queensland, Ceylon, Tasmania, South Australia and
Victoria. He died in Hawthorn, Victoria on 7 September 1947.
